Christmas, December 25, is always celebrated on the appointed day.
Feast of the Immaculate Conception, December 8, is celebrated on the appointed day. If the Feast of the Immaculate Conception comes on a Sunday, the feast is transferred to the following Monday, without the obligation to attend Mass.
Feast of the Ascension is transferred to the following Sunday.
Feast of Mary, Mother of God, January 1, the obligation is dispensed.
Other Holy Days are celebrated on their appropriate days. If these other Holy Days come on a Saturday of Sunday, the obligation is dispensed.
(On those Holy Days where a dispensation is given, there should be an encouragement given to people to attend Mass on these Holy Days if possible.)
