SPIRITUAL AND FORMATIVE ITINERARY
2007 - 2008
The Young Adult group, ages 18-30th meets every Saturday at Our Lady of the Snows Parish Center from 7:00p.m. – 9:00p.m. All singles between these ages are welcome! Our Main goals are:
§ To offer a deep experience of prayer, spirituality and worship.
§ To form them as Christian leaders in the church and society.
§ To provide opportunities to find among their peers the necessary support and encouragement as they journey through life and fulfill their mission to the world.
§ To provide the sacraments of Reconciliation and the Eucharistic Celebration when possible.
HUMAN AND CHRISTIAN DEVELOPMENT COURSE
THE CHRISTIAN VISION OF HUMAN SEXUALITY.

Understand the foundations of the Christian Vision of Human Sexuality.
Become aware of the development of their sexuality
Reflects on the ways sexuality challenges young people in living a Christian lifestyle.

The Church needs young men and women, molded into the image of Christ and filled with the explosive power of the Spirit. The Church needs Catholics!
§ Conversion – allowing Jesus in the Sacraments to change you to the core.
§ Catechesis – letting the power of the truth shape your mind and heart.
§ Community – experiencing the strength that comes from being a member of God’s family.
§ Commissioning – surrendering to the Holy Sprit and going forth with mission to rock the world.

THE HISPANIC PRESENCE IN THE LIFE OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH IN THE UNITED STATES.
PROFESSOR: Mr. Alejandro Aguilera-Titus, MA
Goal:
Following the words of His Holines John Paul II in his Pastoral Letter “Nove Millennio Ineunte”, where he echoes the invitation of Jesus to the apostles “row out to sea”. These words invite us to remember with gratitude the past of the Hispanic ministry, to live with passion the challenges and opportunities of today, and be open to the future with confidence, in order to expand the vision and to respond to this presence in a diverse cultural context.
