The good news is that many inactive Catholics want to return to the church. Our role is to extend an invitation, listen and prepare a warm welcome. The Dioceses and parishes across our nation have made this "ministry to returning Catholics" a top priority. The Diocese of Reno is among those that support and encourage parish communities in this endeavor.

"Ministries to Returning Catholics" provide safe opportunities for returning Catholics to share faith journeys, pray, and discuss their Catholic spirituality. A variety of approaches are used throughout the diocese but the desired outcome is the same, celebrating our brothers and sisters homecoming.
